كِتَابُ الْسير Regarding the cavalry, how much they should be given. Some said three shares.
فِي الْفَارِسِ كَمْ يُقْسَمُ لَهُ؟ مَنْ قَالَ: ثَلَاثَةَ أَسْهُمٍ

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Mak-hul (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) allocated two shares for a horseman and one share for a foot soldier.
حضرت مکحول (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے گھوڑ سوار کے لیے دو اور پیادہ کے لیے ایک حصہ مقرر فرمایا۔
Hazrat Makhool (RA) se marvi hai keh Aap (SAW) ne ghor sawar ke liye do aur paidah ke liye ek hissa muqarrar farmaya.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ : ثنا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ قَالَ : « أَسْهَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ ، وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا »
