Who said they are entitled to nothing if they arrived after the battle.

‌مَنْ قَالَ: لَيْسَ لَهُ شَيْءٌ إِذَا قَدِمَ بَعْدَ الْوَقْعَةِ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 33230

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (R.A) while interpreting the word "Mahroom" in the verse of the Holy Quran {For the beggar and the deprived}, said that "Mahroom" is the person for whom no share of virtue is fixed in Islam.

حضرت ابن عباس (رض) قرآن کی آیت { لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ } میں محروم کی تفسیر کے متعلق فرماتے ہیں کہ محروم وہ شخص ہے جس کے لیے اسلام میں غنیمت کا کوئی حصہ مقرر نہیں ہے۔

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) Quran ki ayat {lilsaaaili walmahroom} mein mahroom ki tafseer ke mutaliq farmate hain ke mahroom woh shakhs hai jis ke liye Islam mein ghanimat ka koi hissa muqarrar nahin hai.

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ : ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ كُرْكُمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ﴿ لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ ﴾ [ الذاريات : ١٩ ] قَالَ : « الْمَحْرُومُ الْمُحَارِفُ الَّذِي لَيْسَ لَهُ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ سَهْمٌ »
