Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34302
Hazrat Ata bin Yasar narrates: When the world (its unnecessary material blessings) were presented before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, I have no desire for you." So he said: "If you have no desire for me, then soon others besides you will desire me."
حضرت عطاء بن یسار کہتے ہیں : نبی اکرم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں دنیا (کی غیرضروری مادی نعمتیں) پیش ہوئیں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یقیناً مجھے تمہاری کوئی خواہش نہیں ہے۔ تو اس نے کہا : اگر آپ کو میری خواہش نہیں ہے تو عنقریب آپ کے سوا دیگر لوگ میری خواہش کریں گے۔
Hazrat Ata bin Yasar kehte hain : Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein dunya (ki ghair zaroori maadi naimaten) pesh hui to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya : Yaqeenan mujhe tumhari koi khwahish nahi hai. To us ne kaha : Agar aap ko meri khwahish nahi hai to anqareeb aap ke siwa deegar log meri khwahish karenge.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ، مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ، سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ ، بَعْضِ الْمَدَنِيِّينَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، قَالَ : " تَعَرَّضَتِ الدُّنْيَا لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ : « إِنِّي لَسْتُ أُرِيدُكِ »، قَالَتْ : إِنْ لَمْ تُرِدْنِي فَسَيُرِيدُنِي غَيْرُكَ "
