Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34390
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Rabia that he said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was on a journey that suddenly you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by a thrown goat, so you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do you see this goat as light on its family?” People submitted. Yes. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: This goat is as light in the sight of its family, even more so the world is worthless (and light) in the sight of Allah Almighty.
حضرت عبداللہ بن ربیعہ سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ایک سفر میں تھے کہ اچانک آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ایک پھینکی ہوئی بکری کے پاس سے گزرے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” کیا تم اس بکری کو اس کے گھر والوں پر ہلکا دیکھ رہے ہو ؟ “ لوگوں نے عرض کیا۔ جی ہاں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یہ بکری اپنے گھر والوں کے ہاں جتنی ہلکی ہے، اس سے بھی زیادہ دنیا اللہ تعالیٰ کے ہاں بےوقعت (اور ہلکی) ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Rabia se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke janab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) aik safar mein thay ke achanak aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) aik phenki hui bakri ke pass se guzre to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: kya tum is bakri ko iske ghar walon par halka dekh rahe ho? Logon ne arz kia, ji haan. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: yeh bakri apne ghar walon ke han jitni halki hai, is se bhi ziada duniya Allah Ta'ala ke han bewqt (aur halki) hai.
غُنْدَرٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِشَاةٍ مَنْبُوذَةٍ فَقَالَ : أَتَرَوْنَ هَذِهِ هَيِّنَةٌ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا ؟ قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : الدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا
