Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 35225
It is narrated from Hazrat Hasan (RA) that he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to his companions (RA): “Your example among the people is like the example of salt in food.” The narrator says: Then Hazrat Hasan (RA) said: "Does food taste good only with salt?" Hazrat Hasan (RA) said: "What will be the condition of that nation whose salt is gone?"
حضرت حسن سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے صحابہ (رض) سے فرمایا : ” تمہاری مثال لوگوں میں ایسی ہے جیسی کھانے میں نمک کی مثال ہوتی ہے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں۔ پھر حضرت حسن نے فرمایا : کھانا صرف نمک کے ساتھ ہی اچھا لگتا ہے ؟ حضرت حسن فرماتے ہیں : اس قوم کی حالت کیسی ہوگی جس کا نمک چلا جائے ؟ “
Hazrat Hassan se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke janab Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne apne sahaba (raz) se farmaya: Tumhari misaal logon mein aisi hai jaisi khane mein namak ki misaal hoti hai. Rawi kehte hain. Phir Hazrat Hassan ne farmaya: Khana sirf namak ke saath hi acha lagta hai? Hazrat Hassan farmate hain: Is qaum ki halat kaisi hogi jiska namak chala jaye?
الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِأَصْحَابِهِ : « أَنْتُمْ فِي النَّاسِ كَمِثْلِ الْمِلْحِ فِي الطَّعَامِ » ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ يَقُولُ الْحَسَنُ : وَهَلْ يَطِيبُ الطَّعَامُ إِلَّا بِالْمِلْحِ ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ الْحَسَنُ : فَكَيْفَ بِقَوْمٍ قَدْ ذَهَبَ مِلْحُهُمْ
