Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36541
Hazrat Abu Bakr bin Abu Musa narrates from his father that Abu Talib set out for Syria. He was accompanied by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and some elders of Quraysh. So when these people reached the monk, they stopped and dismounted from their rides. Then the monk came to them. And before that these people used to pass by the monk, but he would neither come to them nor pay attention to them. The narrator says: When these people were getting off their rides, the monk started walking among them. Until the monk came and took the hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "This is the master of the worlds and this is the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds. And Allah Almighty has sent him as a mercy to the worlds." The people of Quraysh said to the monk, "What do you know?" He said, "When you people rose from the valley, no tree or stone was left but that it bowed down in prostration. And these things prostrate only to the Prophets and I recognize him by the seal of Prophethood which is like an apple under the soft bone of his shoulder." 2. Then the monk returned and prepared food for them (the caravan people). So when he brought food to the caravan people, you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were (assigned) to protect the camels. The monk said, "Send (someone) to them." So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came and a cloud was shading you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The monk said, "Look at them! There is a cloud over them that has shaded them." Then when you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached near the people and the people were already in the shade of the tree before you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So when you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat down, the shade of the tree leaned towards you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The monk said, "Look at the shade of the tree, it has also leaned towards them." 3. The narrator says: When the monk was standing with the caravan people and was demanding from them that the caravan people should not take him to Rome. Because if the Romans see them, they will recognize them by their (his) qualities and kill them. During this time, he looked back and saw a group of nine (9) people who had come from Rome. The monk turned to them and asked, "What has brought you here?" They said, "We have been told that this Prophet will come out of this city. So there is no way left but that people have been sent to him. And we have been informed about him and sent to you on this path." The monk said to these people, "Have you left anyone better than yourselves behind?" They said, "No! We have been informed about him on your way." The monk said, "Tell me about this matter which Allah Almighty has decided to fulfill, so does anyone among the people have the power to reject it?" They said, "No!" The narrator says: So these people agreed with the monk and stayed with him. 4. Then the monk came to the caravan people and said, "I adjure you by Allah! Who is the guardian of this (child)?" Abu Talib said, "I am his guardian." So the monk kept asking Abu Talib until Abu Talib returned you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Hazrat Abu Bakr sent Hazrat Bilal with you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The monk offered you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cakes and olives for the journey.
حضرت ابوبکر بن ابو موسیٰ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ابو طالب شام کی طرف نکلے۔ اور ان کے ہمراہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اور قریش کے چند بڑی عمر کے لوگ تھے۔ پس جب یہ لوگ راہب کے پاس پہنچے۔ انھوں نے پڑاؤ ڈالا اور یہ اپنی سواری سے اترے۔ تو راہب ان کی طرف آیا۔ اور اس سے پہلے یہ لوگ راہب کے پاس سے گزرتے تھے لیکن وہ ان کی طرف نہیں آتا تھا اور نہ ہی ان کی طرف توجہ کرتا تھا۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : یہ لوگ اپنی سواریوں سے اتر رہے تھے تو راہب نے ان کے درمیان پھرنا شروع کیا۔ یہاں تک کہ راہب نے آ کر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا ہاتھ پکڑ لیا اور کہا۔ یہ جہانوں کے سردار ہیں اور یہ جہانوں کے پروردگار کے رسول ہیں۔ اور ان کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے رحمۃ للعالمین بنا کر مبعوث فرمایا ہے۔ قریش کے لوگوں نے راہب سے کہا۔ تمہیں کیا علم ہے ؟ اس نے کہا ۔ جب تم لوگ گھاٹی سے بلند ہوئے تو کوئی درخت اور پتھر باقی نہیں رہا مگر یہ کہ اس نے جھک کر سجدہ کیا۔ اور یہ چیزیں انبیاء ہی کو سجدہ کرتی ہیں اور میں ان کو مہر نبوت کی وجہ سے پہچانتا ہوں جو مہر ان کے کندھے کی نرم ہڈی کے نیچے مثل سیب کے ہے۔ ٢۔ پھر راہب لوٹا اور اس نے ان (قافلہ والوں) کے لیے کھانا تیار کیا ۔ پس جب وہ قافلہ والوں کے پاس کھانا لے کر آیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اونٹوں کی حفاظت پر (مامور) تھے۔ راہب نے کہا۔ ان کی طرف (کوئی آدمی) بھیجو۔ پس آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تشریف لائے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر ایک بادل سایہ کیے ہوئے تھا۔ راہب نے کہا۔ تم انھیں دیکھو ! ان پر ایک بادل ہے جس نے ان پر سایہ کیا ہوا ہے۔ پھر جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) لوگوں کے قریب پہنچے اور لوگ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پہلے ہی درخت کے سایہ میں تھے۔ پس جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بیٹھے تو درخت کا سایہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی طرف مائل ہوگیا۔ راہب نے کہا۔ تم درخت کے سایہ کی طرف دیکھو وہ (بھی) ان کی طرف جھک گیا ہے۔ ٣۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : جب راہب قافلہ والوں کے پاس کھڑا تھا اور ان سے مطالبہ کررہا تھا کہ قافلے والے ان کو روم لے کر نہ جائیں۔ کیونکہ رومی لوگ انھیں دیکھ لیں گے تو انھیں (ان کی) صفات کی وجہ سے پہچان جائیں گے اور انھیں قتل کردیں گے۔ اس دوران اس نے مڑ کر دیکھا تو نو (٩) افراد کا گروہ جو کہ روم سے آیا تھا ، موجود تھا۔ راہب نے ان کی طرف رُخ پھیرا اور پوچھا۔ تمہیں کیا چیز یہاں لائی ہے ؟ انھوں نے کہا : ہمیں یہ بات پہنچی ہے کہ یہ نبی اسی شہر سے نکلے گا۔ پس کوئی راستہ باقی نہیں رہا مگر یہ کہ اس کی طرف لوگوں کو بھیج دیا گیا ہے۔ اور ہمیں اس کے متعلق خبر دی گئی ہے اور ہمیں تمہارے اس راستہ کی طرف بھیجا گیا ہے۔ راہب نے ان افراد سے کہا۔ تم لوگوں نے اپنے پیچھے کسی کو خود سے بہتر چھوڑا ہے ؟ انھوں نے کہا : نہیں ! ہمیں تو ان کی خبر کے بارے میں آپ کے راستہ کی طرف ہی مطلع کیا گیا ہے۔ راہب نے کہا : تم مجھے اس معاملہ کے بارے میں خبر دو جس کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے پورا کرنے کا ارادہ کرلیا ہے تو کیا لوگوں میں سے کوئی اس کو رد کرنے کی طاقت رکھتا ہے ؟ انھوں نے کہا : نہیں ! راوی کہتے ہیں : پس ان لوگوں نے راہب کی بات مان لی اور اسی کے پاس ٹھہر گئے۔ ٤۔ پھر راہب قافلہ والوں کے پاس آیا اور کہا : میں تمہیں اللہ کی قسم دیتا ہوں ! اس (بچہ) کا ولی کون ہے ؟ ابو طالب نے کہا : میں ان کا ولی ہوں۔ پس راہب مسلسل ابو طالب سے مطالبہ کرتا رہا یہاں تک کہ ابو طالب نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو واپس کردیا اور حضرت ابوبکر نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ حضرت بلال کو بھیجا۔ راہب نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو زاد راہ کے لیے کیک اور زیتون پیش کیے۔
Hazrat Abu Bakr bin Abu Moosa apne walid se riwayat karte hain ke Abu Talib Sham ki taraf nikle. Aur un ke hamrah Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) aur Quresh ke chand badi umar ke log thay. Pas jab ye log rahib ke paas pahunche. Unhon ne parao dala aur ye apni sawari se utre. To rahib un ki taraf aaya. Aur is se pehle ye log rahib ke paas se guzarte thay lekin woh un ki taraf nahi aata tha aur na hi un ki taraf tawajjuh karta tha. Rawi kehte hain : Ye log apni sawariyon se utar rahe thay to rahib ne un ke darmiyaan phirna shuru kiya. Yahan tak ke rahib ne aa kar Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka haath pakad liya aur kaha. Ye jahaan ke sardar hain aur ye jahaan ke parwardigaar ke rasool hain. Aur un ko Allah Ta'ala ne rehmatul lil alameen bana kar mab'oos farmaya hai. Quresh ke logon ne rahib se kaha. Tumhen kya ilm hai? Usne kaha. Jab tum log ghati se buland huye to koi darakht aur pathar baqi nahi raha magar ye ke usne jhuk kar sijda kiya. Aur ye cheezein anbiya hi ko sijda karti hain aur main un ko mohar e nabuwat ki wajah se pehchanta hun jo mohar un ke kandhe ki narm haddi ke neeche misl seb ke hai. 2. Phir rahib lota aur usne un (qaafila walon) ke liye khana taiyar kiya. Pas jab woh qaafila walon ke paas khana lekar aaya to Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) oonton ki hifazat par (ma'moor) thay. Rahib ne kaha. Un ki taraf (koi aadmi) bhejo. Pas Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) tashreef laaye aur Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par ek baadal saaya kiye huye tha. Rahib ne kaha. Tum unhen dekho! Un par ek baadal hai jisne un par saaya kiya hua hai. Phir jab Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) logon ke qareeb pahunche aur log Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se pehle hi darakht ke saaye me thay. Pas jab Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) baithe to darakht ka saaya Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki taraf mail hogaya. Rahib ne kaha. Tum darakht ke saaye ki taraf dekho woh (bhi) un ki taraf jhuk gaya. 3. Rawi kehte hain: Jab rahib qaafila walon ke paas khada tha aur un se mutalba kar raha tha ke qaafila wala un ko Room lekar na jayen. Kyunke Roomi log unhen dekh lenge to unhen (un ki) sifat ki wajah se pehchan jayenge aur unhen qatal kar denge. Is dauran usne mud kar dekha to nau (9) afrad ka giroh jo ke Room se aaya tha, maujood tha. Rahib ne un ki taraf rukh phairaya aur poocha. Tumhen kya cheez yahan laayi hai? Unhon ne kaha: Hamein ye baat pahunchi hai ke ye nabi isi shehar se niklenge. Pas koi rasta baqi nahi raha magar ye ke us ki taraf logon ko bhej diya gaya hai. Aur hamein us ke mutalliq khabar di gayi hai aur hamein tumhare is rasta ki taraf bheja gaya hai. Rahib ne un afrad se kaha. Tum logon ne apne peeche kisi ko khud se behtar chhoda hai? Unhon ne kaha: Nahi! Hamein to un ki khabar ke bare mein aap ke rasta ki taraf hi muttala kiya gaya hai. Rahib ne kaha: Tum mujhe is mamla ke bare mein khabar do jis ko Allah Ta'ala ne pura karne ka irada kar liya hai to kya logon mein se koi us ko rad karne ki taqat rakhta hai? Unhon ne kaha: Nahi! Rawi kehte hain: Pas un logon ne rahib ki baat maan li aur usi ke paas theher gaye. 4. Phir rahib qaafila walon ke paas aaya aur kaha: Main tumhen Allah ki qasam deta hun! Is (bachcha) ka wali kaun hai? Abu Talib ne kaha: Main un ka wali hun. Pas rahib musalsal Abu Talib se mutalba karta raha yahan tak ke Abu Talib ne Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko wapas kar diya aur Hazrat Abu Bakr ne Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke saath Hazrat Bilal ko bhi bheja. Rahib ne Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko zaad e raah ke liye cake aur zaitoon pesh kiye.
قُرَادٌ أَبُو نُوحٍ ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ " خَرَجَ أَبُو طَالِبٍ إِلَى الشَّامِ وَخَرَجَ مَعَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَشْيَاخٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ، فَلَمَّا أَشْرَفُوا عَلَى الرَّاهِبِ هَبَطُوا فَحَلُّوا رِحَالَهُمْ ، فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْهِمِ الرَّاهِبُ ، وَكَانُوا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ يَمُرُّونَ بِهِ فَلَا يَخْرُجُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتُ ، قَالَ : فَهُمْ يَحِلُّونَ رِحَالَهُمْ فَجَعَلَ يَتَخَلَّلُهُمْ حَتَّى جَاءَ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ : هَذَا سَيِّدُ الْعَالَمِينَ ، هَذَا رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ، هَذَا يَبْعَثُهُ اللَّهُ رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ أَشْيَاخٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ : مَا عَمَلُكَ ؟ قَالَ : إِنَّكُمْ حِينَ أَشْرَفْتُمْ مِنَ الْعَقَبَةِ لَمْ يَبْقَ شَجَرٌ وَلَا حَجَرٌ إِلَّا خَرَّ سَاجِدًا وَلَا يَسْجُدُ إِلَّا لِنَبِيٍّ ، وَإِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُهُ بِخَاتَمِ النُّبُوَّةِ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ غُضْرُوفِ كَتِفِهِ مِثْلَ التُّفَّاحَةِ ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ صَنَعَ لَهُمْ طَعَامًا ، فَلَمَّا أَتَاهُمْ بِهِ وَكَانَ هُوَ فِي رَعِيَّةِ الْإِبِلِ قَالَ : أَرْسِلُوا إِلَيْهِ ، فَأَقْبَلَ وَعَلَيْهِ غَمَامَةٌ تُظِلُّهُ قَالَ : انْظُرُوا إِلَيْهِ عَلَيْهِ غَمَامَةٌ تُظِلُّهُ ، فَلَمَّا دَنَا مِنَ الْقَوْمِ وَجَدَهُمْ قَدْ سَبَقُوا إِلَى فَيْءِ الشَّجَرَةِ عَلَيْهِ ، فَلَمَّا جَلَسَ مَالَ فَيْءُ الشَّجَرَةِ عَلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : انْظُرُوا إِلَى فَيْءِ الشَّجَرَةِ مَالَ عَلَيْهِ ، قَالَ : فَبَيْنَمَا هُوَ قَائِمٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَهُوَ يُنَاشِدُهُمْ أَنْ لَا يَذْهَبُوا بِهِ إِلَى الرُّومِ ، فَإِنَّ الرُّومَ لَوْ رَأَوْهُ عَرَفُوهُ بِالصِّفَةِ فَقَتَلُوهُ ، فَالْتَفَتَ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِتِسْعَةِ نَفَرٍ قَدْ أَقْبَلُوا مِنَ الرُّومِ فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُمْ ، فَقَالَ : مَا جَاءَ بِكُمْ ؟ قَالُوا : جِئْنَا أَنَّ هَذَا النَّبِيَّ خَارِجٌ فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ ، فَلَمْ يَبْقَ فِي طَرِيقٍ إِلَّا قَدْ بُعِثَ إِلَيْهِ نَاسٌ ، وَإِنَّا أُخْبِرْنَا خَبَرَهُ فَبُعِثْنَا إِلَى طَرِيقِكَ هَذَا ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ : مَا خَلَّفْتُمْ خَلْفَكُمْ أَحَدًا هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكُمْ ، قَالُوا : لَا ، إِنَّمَا أُخْبِرْنَا خَبَرَهُ فَبُعِثْنَا لِطَرِيقِكَ هَذَا ، قَالَ : أَفَرَأَيْتُمْ أَمْرًا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَقْضِيَهُ وَهَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ رَدَّهُ ؟ قَالُوا : لَا ، قَالَ : فَبَايَعُوهُ وَأَقَامُوا مَعَهُ ، فَأَتَاهُمْ فَقَالَ : أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ أَيُّكُمْ وَلِيُّهُ ؟ قَالَ أَبُو طَالِبٍ : أَنَا ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يُنَاشِدُهُ حَتَّى رَدَّهُ أَبُو طَالِبٍ وَبَعَثَ مَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِلَالًا وَزَوَّدَهُ الرَّاهِبُ مِنَ الْكَعْكِ وَالزَّيْتِ "
