Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36551
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas that the Holy Quran was revealed to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was forty years old. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stayed in Makkah for thirteen years and in Madinah for ten years and when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sixty-three years old.
حضرت ابن عباس سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر قرآن کا نزول ہوا جبکہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی عمر چالیس سال کی تھی ۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مکہ میں تیرہ سال اور مدینہ میں دس سال اقامت پذیر رہے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی وفات ہوئی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی عمر مبارک تریسٹھ سال کی تھی۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par Quran ka nuzool hua jabke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki umar chalis saal ki thi. Phir aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Makkah mein terah saal aur Madina mein das saal iqamat pazir rahe aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki wafat hui to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki umar mubarak tiresath saal ki thi.
يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، « أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً ، فَأَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ ، وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ ، وَتُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ »
