What Was Said About the Prophet ﷺ's Prophethood
مَا جَاءَ فِي مَبْعَثِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

Hazrat Hassan narrates that Allah Almighty once sent the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to admit a man to Paradise. The narrator says: So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by one of the synagogues of the Jews, so you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to them while they were reading their book. When they saw you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), they closed the book and went out. In a corner of the synagogue lay a man near death. The narrator says that you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to this man, and he said: These people (Jews) have been forbidden to read from the fact that you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) have come to them, and these people (at this time) were reading the attributes of a prophet. Which is you. Then the man came to the book. He opened it and read it and said: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah. Then the man died. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Take care of your brother." The narrator says: Then the Companions bathed him, shrouded him, and applied perfume to him, and then his funeral prayer was offered.
حضرت حسن فرماتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو ایک آدمی کو جنت میں داخل کرنے کے لیے بھیجا۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : پس آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) یہود کی عبادت گاہوں میں سے ایک عبادت گاہ کے پاس سے گزرے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان کے پاس تشریف لے گئے اس وقت وہ لوگ اپنی کتاب پڑھ رہے تھے۔ جب انھوں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دیکھا تو کتاب کو بند کردیا اور باہر نکل گئے۔ عبادت گاہ کے ایک کونہ میں ایک آدمیمرنے کے قریب پڑا ہوا تھا ۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس آدمی کے پاس تشریف لائے تو اس آدمی نے عرض کیا۔ ان لوگوں (یہود) کو پڑھنے سے اس بات نے منع کیا ہے کہ آپ ان کے پاس تشریف لائے ہیں اور یہ لوگ (اس وقت) ایک نبی کی صفات پڑھ رہے تھے۔ جو کہ آپ ہی ہیں۔ پھر وہ آدمی کتاب کے پاس آیا ۔ اس کو کھولا اور پڑھا تو کہا۔ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہے اور محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے رسول ہیں۔ پھر اس آدمی کی روح قبض ہوگئی۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا ’؛ اپنے بھائی کو سنبھالو۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : پھر صحابہ نے اس کو غسل دیا اور کفن دیا اور حنوط لگایا پھر اس پر جنازہ پڑھا گیا۔
Hazrat Hassan farmate hain ke Allah ta'ala ne ek martaba Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko ek aadmi ko jannat mein dakhil karne ke liye bheja. Ravi kehte hain: Pas Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Yahood ki ibadat gaahon mein se ek ibadat gah ke pass se guzre to Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) un ke pass tashreef le gaye us waqt woh log apni kitab parh rahe the. Jab unhon ne Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko dekha to kitab ko band kar diya aur bahar nikal gaye. Ibadat gah ke ek kone mein ek aadmi marne ke qareeb para hua tha. Ravi kehte hain ke Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is aadmi ke pass tashreef laaye to is aadmi ne arz kiya. In logon (Yahood) ko parhne se is baat ne mana kiya hai ke Aap un ke pass tashreef laaye hain aur ye log (us waqt) ek Nabi ki sifat parh rahe the. Jo ke Aap hi hain. Phir woh aadmi kitab ke pass aaya. Is ko khola aur parha to kaha. Main gawahi deta hun ke Allah ke siwa koi mabood nahin hai aur Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Allah ke Rasool hain. Phir is aadmi ki rooh qabz hogayi. Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya 'apne bhai ko sambhalo'. Ravi kehte hain: Phir Sahaba ne is ko ghusl diya aur kafan diya aur hanut lagaya phir is par janaza parha gaya.
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : " ابْتَعَثَ اللَّهُ النَّبِيَّ ﵊ مَرَّةً لِإِدْخَالِ رَجُلٍ الْجَنَّةَ ، قَالَ : فَمَرَّ عَلَى كَنِيسَةٍ مِنْ كَنَائِسِ الْيَهُودِ فَدَخَلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَهُمْ يَقْرَءُونَ سِفْرَهُمْ ، فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ أَطْبَقُوا السِّفْرَ وَخَرَجُوا ، وَفِي نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ الْكَنِيسَةِ رَجُلٌ يَمُوتُ قَالَ : فَجَاءَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ : إِنَّمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَنْ يَقْرَءُوا أَنَّكَ أَتَيْتَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَقْرَءُونَ نَعْتَ نَبِيٍّ هُوَ نَعْتُكَ ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ إِلَى السِّفْرِ فَفَتَحَهُ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ فَقَالَ : أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ دُونَكُمْ أَخَاكُمْ ، قَالَ : فَغَسَّلُوهُ وَكَفَّنُوهُ وَحَنَّطُوهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ "
