Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36683
It was narrated from Qays ibn 'Abbad that I heard Abu Dharr swearing an oath that these Verses were revealed concerning six men on the day of Badr: 'Ali, Hamza and 'Ubaydah ibn al-Harith, and 'Utban ibn Rabi'ah, Shaybah ibn Rabi'ah and al-Walid ibn 'Utbab. (The Verses are): "These (believers and disbelievers) are two adversaries who have disputed about their Lord."
حضرت قیس بن عباد سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے ابو ذر کو قسم کھا کر کہتے سُنا کہ یہ (آئندہ) آیات بدر کے دن ان چھ افراد کے بارے میں نازل ہوئی ہیں۔ علی ، حمزہ اور عبیدہ بن الحارث ، اور عتبہ بن ربیعہ، شیبہ بن ربیعہ اور ولید بن عتبہ۔ (آیات یہ ہیں) { ہَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِی رَبِّہِمْ }۔
Hazrat Qais bin Abad se riwayat hai keh maine Abu Zar ko qasam kha kar kehte suna keh yeh aayenda ayat Badr ke din un chhe afrad ke bare mein nazil hui hain Ali Hamza aur Ubaidah bin al Harith aur Utbah bin Rabia Shaibah bin Rabia aur Waleed bin Utbah Ayat yeh hain Hazan khasmani ightasamu fi rabihim
وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ الْوَاسِطِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ يُقْسِمُ : " لَنَزَلَتْ هَؤُلَاءِ الْآيَاتُ فِي هَؤُلَاءِ الرَّهْطِ السِّتَّةِ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ : عَلِيٍّ وَحَمْزَةَ وَعُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَعُتْبَةَ وَشَيْبَةَ ابْنَيْ رَبِيعَةَ وَالْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ "
