Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36707
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Bar'a that on the day of Badr, I and Ibn Umar were presented before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but we were considered too young. However, we participated in the Battle of Uhud.
حضرت برائ سے روایت ہے کہ یوم بدر کو مجھے اور ابن عمر کو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے پیش کیا گیا تو ہمیں چھوٹا سمجھا گیا اور ہم احد میں شریک ہوئے۔
Hazrat Bara se riwayat hai ke Yom Badr ko mujhe aur Ibn Umar ko Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke samne pesh kiya gaya to humein chhota samjha gaya aur hum Uhud mein shareek huye.
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، قَالَ : « عُرِضْتُ أَنَا وَابْنُ عُمَرَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ فَاسْتَصْغَرَنَا وَشَهِدْنَا أُحُدًا »
