كِتَابُ صَلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعِ وَالْإِمَامَةِ وَأَبْوَابٌ مُتَفَرِّقَةٌ
Regarding the newly built and the old mosque
فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْمُحْدَثِ وَالْعَتِيقِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 6245
"Hazrat Thabit Bunani narrates that whenever Hazrat Anas bin Malik and I would pass by a mosque, he would listen to its Azaan and ask, 'Is this a new mosque?' People would reply, 'Yes.' Upon hearing this, he would move on and search for another mosque."
حضرت ثابت بنانی کہتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت انس بن مالک کے ساتھ کبھی کسی مسجد کے پاس آتا وہ اس کی اذان سنتے اور پوچھتے کہ کیا یہ نئی مسجد ہے ؟ لوگ کہتے جی ہاں۔ اس پر وہ اس مسجد سے آگے کسی اور مسجد کی تلاش میں چلے جاتے۔
Hazrat Sabit Binani kehty hain ke main Hazrat Anas bin Malik ke sath kabhi kisi masjid ke pass aata woh is ki azan suntay aur poochtay ke kya yeh nayi masjid hai? Log kehty ji haan. Iss par woh iss masjid se aagey kisi aur masjid ki talash mein chalay jatay.
حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ الصَّيْدَلَانِيِّ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ أَكُونُ مَعَ أَنَسٍ ، فَيَأْتِي عَلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَيَسْمَعُ الْأَذَانَ ، فَيَقُولُ : « مُحْدَثٌ هَذَا ؟» فَإِذَا قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، يُجَاوِزُهُ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ
