‌كِتَابُ صَلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعِ وَالْإِمَامَةِ وَأَبْوَابٌ مُتَفَرِّقَةٌ

Regarding His saying: 'Establish the prayer at the decline of the sun' [Quran 17:78]

‌فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ﴾ [

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 6281

The respected Mujahid says that Dlukal Shams means the decline of the sun and Ghasqal Lail means the setting of the sun.

حضرت مجاہد فرماتے ہیں کہ دلوک شمس سے مراد سورج کا زوال ہے اور غسق اللیل سے مراد سورج کا غروب ہے۔

Hazrat Mujahid farmate hain keh duluk shams se murad sooraj ka zawal hai aur ghasaq ul lail se murad sooraj ka ghuroob hai

حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ ، عَنْ وَرْقَاءَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ : " دُلُوكُ الشَّمْسِ : تَزِيغُ ، وَغَسَقُ اللَّيْلِ : غُرُوبُ الشَّمْسِ "
