What to supplicate during the Qunut of Fajr prayer.

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 7031
Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair narrates that he heard Hazrat Umar reciting Qunut in Fajr prayer. He first said (translation) In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, O Allah! We seek help from You, we believe in You, we trust in You, we praise You for Your goodness, and we are not ungrateful to You. Then he recited (translation), In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, O Allah! We worship only You, we pray to You, we prostrate before You. We turn to You, we hope for Your mercy, we fear Your punishment, and indeed Your punishment will reach the disbelievers. O Allah! Punish the disbelievers among the People of the Book who hinder from Your path.
حضرت عبید بن عمیر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عمر کو فجر کی نماز میں دعائے قنوت پڑھتے سنا۔ انھوں نے پہلے یہ کہا (ترجمہ) بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم ، اے اللہ ! ہم تجھ سے مدد مانگتے ہیں، تجھ پر ایمان لاتے ہیں، تجھ پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں، تیری خیر کی تعریف کرتے ہں ہ، ترمی ناشکری نہیں کرتے۔ پھر انھوں نے یہ پڑھا (ترجمہ) بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم، اے اللہ ! ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں، تیرے لیے نماز پڑھتے ہیں، تیرے آگے سجدہ کرتے ہیں۔ تیری طرف چلتے ہیں، تیری رحمت کی امید رکھتے ہیں، تیرے عذاب سے ڈرتے ہیں اور بیشک تیرا عذاب کافروں تک پہنچنے والا ہے۔ اے اللہ ! ان اہل کتاب کافروں کو عذاب میں مبتلا فرما جو تیرے راستے سے روکتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair kehte hain ki maine Hazrat Umar ko Fajar ki namaz mein Dua e Qunut parhte suna Unhon ne pehle ye kaha Bismillah hir Rehman nir Raheem Aye Allah hum tujh se madad mangte hain tujh par iman laate hain tujh par bharosa karte hain teri khair ki tareef karte hain hum teri nashukri nahin karte Phir unhon ne ye parha Bismillah hir Rehman nir Raheem Aye Allah hum teri hi ibadat karte hain tere liye namaz parhte hain tere aagey sajda karte hain teri taraf chalte hain teri rehmat ki umeed rakhte hain tere azab se darte hain aur beshak tera azab kafiro tak pohanchne wala hai Aye Allah in ahle kitab kafiro ko azab mein مبتلا farma jo tere raste se rokte hain
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ ، يَقْنُتُ فِي الْفَجْرِ يَقُولُ : « بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ ، وَنَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ وَنُثْنِي عَلَيْكَ الْخَيْرَ كُلَّهُ ، وَلَا نَكْفُرُ » ثُمَّ قَرَأَ : « بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ اللَّهُمَّ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ ، وَلَكَ نُصَلِّي وَنَسْجُدُ ، وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعَى وَنَحْفِدُ ، نَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ ، وَنَخْشَى عَذَابَكَ ، إِنَّ عَذَابَكَ الْجِدَّ بِالْكُفَّارِ مُلْحِقٌ ، اللَّهُمَّ عَذِّبْ كَفَرَةَ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ الَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ »
