Hazrat Ata considered the binding of the Quran with other than the Quran as Makruh (disliked) and also the writing of anything other than the Quran in the Mushaf (copy of the Quran).
حضرت عطاء مصحف کی تعشیر کو مکروہ قرار دیتے تھے اور اس بات کو بھی کہ مصحف میں قرآن کے علاوہ کوئی اور بات لکھی جائے۔
Hazrat Ata mushaf ki tash'hir ko makrooh qarar dete thay aur is baat ko bhi ke mushaf mein quran ke ilawa koi aur baat likhi jaye.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، قَالَ : « كَانَ يُكْرَهُ التَّعْشِيرَ فِي الْمُصْحَفِ ، وَأَنْ يُكْتَبَ فِيهِ شَيْءٌ مِنْ غَيْرِهِ » ⦗ص:٢٣٩⦘ ،
