كِتَابُ صَلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعِ وَالْإِمَامَةِ وَأَبْوَابٌ مُتَفَرِّقَةٌ Regarding His saying, Exalted is He: 'Guard strictly (your habit of) prayers, especially the middle prayer' [
فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى﴾ [

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 8622
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that the middle prayer is the Fajr prayer.
حضرت سمرہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ درمیانی نماز صبح کی نماز ہے۔
Hazrat Samra se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya keh darmiyaani namaz subah ki namaz hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : ثنا هَمَّامٌ ، قَالَ : ثنا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ، قَالَ : « الصَّلَاةُ الْوُسْطَى صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ »
