Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 8636
Hazrat Hassan narrates that people submitted that O Messenger of Allah! we have learnt the way to send salutations upon you, now teach us the way to recite Durood. You said: Say like this (translation) O Allah! Make Your mercy and blessings for the progeny of Hazrat Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) as You made for the progeny of Hazrat Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy and Majestic.
حضرت حسن فرماتے ہیں کہ لوگوں نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ ! ہم نے آپ پر سلام بھیجنے کا طریقہ تو سیکھ لیا آپ ہمیں درود کا طریقہ بھی سکھا دیجئے۔ آپ نے فرمایا کہ تم یوں کہو (ترجمہ) اے اللہ ! اپنی رحمتوں اور برکتوں کو حضرت محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی آل کے لیے بنا دے جیسا کہ تو نے حضرت ابراہیم کے لیے بنایا، تو قابل تعریف اور عظمت والا ہے۔
Hazrat Hassan farmate hain keh logon ne arz kiya keh Ya Rasool Allah hum ne aap per salam bhejne ka tareeqa to seekh liya aap humain durood ka tareeqa bhi sikha dijiye Aap ne farmaya keh tum yun kaho tarjuma Aye Allah apni rehmaton aur barkaton ko Hazrat Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki aal ke liye bana de jaisa keh too ne Hazrat Ibrahim ke liye banaya too qaabile tareef aur azmat wala hai
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، وَمَنْصُورٌ ، وَعَوْفٌ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَدْ عَلِمْنَا السَّلَامَ عَلَيْكَ ، فَكَيْفَ الصَّلَاةُ ؟ قَالَ : " قُولُوا : اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صَلَوَاتِكَ وَبَرَكَاتِكَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ، كَمَا جَعَلْتَهَا عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ "
