Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 8716
Hazrat Ibn Abbas states that, according to my knowledge, it is not permissible to send Durood (blessings) upon anyone other than the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
حضرت ابن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ میرے علم کے مطابق نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے علاوہ کسی پر درود پڑھنا جائز نہیں۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas farmate hain keh mere ilm ke mutabiq Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke ilawa kisi par durood parhna jaiz nahi.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : ثنا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ : ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : « مَا أَعْلَمُ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْبَغِي مِنْ أَحَدٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ إِلَّا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ »
