What they said about a man who starts fasting Ramadan then travels

‌مَا قَالُوا: فِي الرَّجُلِ يُدْرِكُهُ رَمَضَانُ فَيَصُومُ ثُمَّ يُسَافِرُ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9012

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab and Hazrat Hassan state that if a person starts a journey in Ramadan, then if he wishes, he may not fast.

حضرت سعید بن مسیب اور حضرت حسن فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر کوئی شخص رمضان میں سفر شروع کرے تو اگر وہ چاہے تو روزہ نہ رکھے۔

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab aur Hazrat Hassan farmate hain ke agar koi shakhs Ramzan mein safar shuru kare to agar wo chahe to roza na rakhe.

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، وَالْحَسَنِ ، قَالَا : « يُفْطِرُ إِنْ شَاءَ »
