Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9328

Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abi Layla narrates that the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) used to say that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), out of compassion for his companions and for their ease, prohibited them from leaning backwards while fasting and from observing consecutive fasts without breaking them at night.

حضرت عبد الرحمن بن ابی لیلیٰ فرماتے ہیں کہ صحابہ کرام کہا کرتے تھے کہ نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے ساتھیوں کی آسانی کے لیے ان پر شفقت کرتے ہوئے روزہ کی حالت میں پچھنے لگوانے اور صوم وصال رکھنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila farmate hain ke Sahaba kiram kaha karte thay ke Nabi Pak (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apne saathiyon ki aasani ke liye un per shafqat karte huye roze ki halat mein pachne lagwane aur saum wisal rakhne se mana farmaya hai.

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ ، قَالُوا : « إِنَّمَا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْحِجَامَةِ لِلصَّائِمِ ، وَالْوِصَالِ فِي الصِّيَامِ إِبْقَاءً عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ »
