Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9606
Hazrat Anas narrates that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took an oath of abstinence from his wives for a month and went to his upper chamber. Then, he came down after twenty-nine days. People said, "O Messenger of Allah! You had taken an oath of abstinence for a month?" He said, "A month can also be of twenty-nine days."
حضرت انس فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی ازواج سے ایک مہینے کا ایلاء کیا اور اپنے اونچے کمرے میں تشریف لے گئے۔ پھر آپ انتیس دن بعد نیچے تشریف لے آئے۔ لوگوں نے کہا یا رسول اللہ ! آپ نے تو ایک مہینے کا ایلاء کیا تھا ؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ مہینہ انتیس دن کا بھی ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Anas farmate hain ke ek martaba Nabi Pak (SAW) ne apni azwaj se ek mahine ka ila kiya aur apne oonche kamre mein tashreef le gaye. Phir aap untis din baad neeche tashreef le aaye. Logon ne kaha Ya Rasulullah! Aap ne to ek mahine ka ila kiya tha? Aap ne farmaya ke mahina untis din ka bhi hota hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ آلَى مِنْ نِسَائِهِ شَهْرًا ، فَقَعَدَ فِي مَشْرُبَةٍ لَهُ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فِي تِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ، فَقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّكَ آلَيْتَ شَهْرًا ، فَقَالَ : « إِنَّ الشَّهْرَ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ »
