Chapter: What Has Been Related About The Subsistence Of The Companions Of The Prophet (s.a.w) And His Family

باب مَا جَاءَ فِي مَعِيشَةِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went out one day accompanied by Abu Bakr and Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنهما). And he mentioned like Hadith (# 66 above) in meaning, but he did not mention from Abu Hurairah ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) in it. Imam Tirmidhi said, the (previous) narration of Shaiban is more complete than (this) narration of Abu Awanah, and it is longer. Shaiban is trustworthy according to them (the scholars) and he had written book. This Hadith has been reported from Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) through other routes. It has also been reported from Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه).

ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن سے (مرسل) روایت ہے کہ ایک دن رسول اللہ ﷺ اور ابوبکر و عمر رضی الله عنہما گھر سے نکلے، اس کے بعد راوی نے مذکورہ حدیث جیسی حدیث بیان کی، لیکن اس میں ابوہریرہ کا ذکر نہیں کیا، شیبان کی ( سابقہ ) حدیث ابو عوانہ کی ( اس ) حدیث سے زیادہ مکمل اور زیادہ طویل ہے، شیبان محدثین کے نزدیک ثقہ اور صاحب کتاب ہیں ۱؎، ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے یہ حدیث اس سند کے علاوہ دوسری سند سے بھی مروی ہے، اور یہ حدیث ابن عباس سے بھی مروی ہے۔
Abu Salmah bin Abdul Rahman se (marsel) riwayat hai ke aik din Rasool Allah salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam aur Abu Bakr wa Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه)uma ghar se nikle, is ke baad rawi ne mazkoor hadith jaisi hadith bayan ki, lekin is mein Abu Hurairah ka zakr nahin kiya, Shiban ki (sabeqah) hadith Abu Awana ki (is) hadith se ziada mukammal aur ziada tawil hai, Shiban muhaddiseen ke nazdeek thukah aur sahib kitab hain 1، Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه)u se yeh hadith is sand ke alawa doosri sand se bhi marwi hai, aur yeh hadith Ibn Abbas se bhi marwi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ يَوْمًا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَحَدِيثُ شَيْبَانَ أَتَمُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ، وَأَطْوَلُ، وَشَيْبَانُ ثِقَةٌ عِنْدَهُمْ صَاحِبُ كِتَابٍ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ، وَرُوِيَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَيْضًا.
