Jami` at-Tirmidhi 255
Salim narrated from his father (Ibn Umar - رضي الله تعالى عنه) who said : 'I saw Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) when he opened the Salah, raising his hands to the level of his shoulders, and (again) when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing.' In his narration, Ibn Abi Umar added : "And he wuld not raise them between the two prostrations."

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ جب آپ نماز شروع کرتے تو اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھاتے یہاں تک کہ انہیں اپنے دونوں کندھوں کے بالمقابل کرتے، اور جب رکوع کرتے اور رکوع سے اپنا سر اٹھاتے ( تو بھی اسی طرح دونوں ہاتھ اٹھاتے ) ۱؎۔ ابن ابی عمر ( ترمذی کے دوسرے استاذ ) نے اپنی روایت میں یہ اضافہ کیا ہے، دونوں سجدوں کے درمیان نہیں اٹھاتے تھے۔
abdul'allah bin 'umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main ne rasool'allah sall'allahu 'alaihi wa sallam ko dekha ke jab aap namaz shuru karte to apne dono hath uthate yah'an tak ke unhain apne dono kandhon ke balmuqabil karte, aur jab rukoo karte aur rukoo se apna sir uthate ( to bhi isi tarah dono hath uthate ) 1؎. ibn abi 'umar ( termidhi ke dusre ustaad ) ne apni riwayat mein yeh izafa kiya hai, dono sajdoo ke darmiyan nahin uthate the.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ وَزَادَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ، وَكَانَ لَا يَرْفَعُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ .
