Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2879
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘whoever recites – [ Ha-meem. The revelation of this Book (the Quran) is from Allah, the Almighty, All Knowing, the Forgiver of sins, Who accepts the repentance, Stern in punishment, and the Lord of the Bounty; there is no god but He, to Whom all shall return.] (Ghafir:1-3) and Ayat Al-Kursi, when he gets up in the morning, he will be protected by them until the evening. And whoever recites them in the evening, he will be protected by them until the morning. Imam Tirmidhi said, this Hadith is Gharib. Some of the people of knowledge criticized Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr bin Abi Mulaikah Al-Mulaiki (a narrator in the chain) due to his memory. Zurarah bin Mus'ab is Ibn Abdur Rahman bin Awf, and he is the grandfather of Abu Musab Al-Madani.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جس نے سورۃ مومن کی ( ابتدائی تین آیات ) «حم» سے «إليه المصير» تک اور آیت الکرسی صبح ہی صبح ( بیدار ہونے کے بعد ہی ) پڑھی تو ان دونوں کے ذریعہ شام تک اس کی حفاظت کی جائے گی، اور جس نے ان دونوں کو شام ہوتے ہی پڑھا تو ان کے ذریعہ اس کی صبح ہونے تک حفاظت کی جائے گی“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- بعض اہل علم نے عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی بکر بن ابی ملیکہ کے حافظے کے سلسلے میں کلام کیا ہے، ۳- زرارہ بن مصعب کا پورا نام زرارہ بن مصعب بن عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف ہے، اور وہ ابومصعب مدنی کے دادا ہیں۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Jis ne Surah Momin ki (ibtidai teen ayat) «Hum» se «Ilaihi'l-masir» tak aur Aayat al-Kursi subh hi subh (bedar hone ke baad hi) padhi to in dono ke zariye sham tak us ki hifazat ki jaegi, aur jis ne in dono ko sham hote hi padha to in ke zariye us ki subh hone tak hifazat ki jaegi"۔ Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain: 1. Yeh hadith gharib hai, 2. Baaz ahl e ilm ne Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr bin Abi Malikah ke hafize ke silsile mein kalam kiya hai, 3. Zurarah bin Mus'ab ka pura naam Zurarah bin Mus'ab bin Abdul Rahman bin Auf hai, aur woh Abu Mus'ab Madani ke dada hain.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ الْمَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُلَيْكِيِّ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ حم الْمُؤْمِنَ إِلَى إِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ ، وَآيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِّ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ، حُفِظَ بِهِمَا حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ، وَمَنْ قَرَأَهُمَا حِينَ يُمْسِي حُفِظَ بِهِمَا حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، وَقَدْ تَكَلَّمَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ الْمُلَيْكِيِّ مِنْ قِبَلِ حِفْظِهِ، وَزُرَارَةُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ هُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، وَهُوَ جَدُّ أَبِي مُصْعَبٍ الْمَدَنِيِّ.
