Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3900
Shu'bah narrated from Adi bin Thabit, from Al-Bara bin 'Azib (رضي الله تعالى عنه), that he heard the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), or he said, ‘the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, about the Ansar, 'no one loves them except a believer, and no one hates them except a hypocrite. Whoever loves them, then Allah loves him, and whoever hates them then Allah hates him.' So, we said to him, ‘did you hear this from Al-Bara (رضي الله تعالى عنه)?" He said, he narrated it to me and this is Sahih. Imam Tirmidhi said and with this same chain, from the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), that he said, ‘if the people were to pass through a valley or a path, then I would be with the Ansar.’ He said, this Hadith is Hasan.

براء بن عازب رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی اکرم ﷺ سے سنا، یا کہا کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے انصار کے بارے میں فرمایا: ”ان سے مومن ہی محبت کرتا ہے، اور ان سے منافق ہی بغض رکھتا ہے، جو ان سے محبت کرے گا اس سے اللہ محبت کرے گا اور جو ان سے بغض رکھے گا اس سے اللہ بغض رکھے گا“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث صحیح ہے۔
Baraa bin Aazeb ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se riwayat hai ke unhon ne Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suna, ya kaha ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Ansar ke bare mein farmaya: "In se Momin hi mohabbat karta hai, aur in se munafiq hi baghz rakhta hai, jo in se mohabbat karega us se Allah mohabbat karega aur jo in se baghz rakhega us se Allah baghz rakhega" 1،. Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain: yeh hadith sahih hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَوْ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ: لَا يُحِبُّهُمْ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ، وَلَا يَبْغَضُهُمْ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ، مَنْ أَحَبَّهُمْ فَأَحَبَّهُ اللَّهُ، وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُمْ فَأَبْغَضَهُ اللَّهُ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنَ الْبَرَاءِ ؟ فَقَالَ: إِيَّايَ حَدَّثَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ، وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: لَوْ سَلَكَ الْأَنْصَارُ وَادِيًا، أَوْ شِعْبًا لَكُنْتُ مَعَ الْأَنْصَارِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ.
