Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 872
Ibn 'Abbas said that a man - or a bedouin - came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and spoke some eloquent words. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "There is some magic eloquence and some wisdom in poetry."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی یا دیہاتی نبی ﷺ کے پاس آیا اور بڑی واضح گفتگو کی۔ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا:’’کئی بیان جادو اثر ہوتے ہیں اور کئی شعر حکمت پر مبنی ہوتے ہیں۔‘‘
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se riwayat hai ki ek aadmi ya dehati Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass aaya aur badi wazeh guftgu ki. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ''Kayi bayan jadu asar hote hain aur kayi sher hikmat par mabni hote hain.''
حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، أَوْ أَعْرَابِيًّا، أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَتَكَلَّمَ بِكَلاَمٍ بَيِّنٍ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا، وَإِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً.
