It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about Hajj on the day of Arafat. I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that Hajj is indeed on the day of Arafat. Whoever witnesses the night of Muzdalifah before the Fajr prayer, his Hajj is complete. And the days of Mina are three, so whoever returns in the first two days, there is no sin on him, and whoever returns later, there is no sin on him either.

حضرت عبدالرحمن بن یعمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے عرفہ کے دن حج کے متعلق پوچھا تو میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ حج تو ہوتا ہی عرفہ کے دن ہے جو شخص مزدلفہ کی رات نماز فجر ہونے سے پہلے بھی میدان عرفات کو پالے تو اس کا حج مکمل ہوگیا اور منٰی کے تین دن ہیں سو جو شخص پہلے ہی دو دن میں واپس آجائے تو اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں اور جو بعد میں آجائے اس پر بھی کوئی گناہ نہیں۔
Hazrat Abdar Rahman bin Umar Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki aik aadmi ne Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam se Arafah ke din Hajj ke mutaliq poocha to main ne Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko farmate hue suna ki Hajj to hota hi Arafah ke din hai jo shakhs Muzdalifah ki raat namaz Fajar hone se pehle bhi maidan Arafat ko pa le to is ka Hajj mukammal hogaya aur Minah ke teen din hain so jo shakhs pehle hi do din mein wapas aa jaye to is par koi gunah nahi aur jo baad mein aaye is par bhi koi gunah nahi.

Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made a man sit behind him who started announcing these words.

Hazrat Abdar Rahman bin Ya'mar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik aadmi ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se Arafah ke din Hajj ke mutaliq poocha to maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko farmate huye suna ki Hajj to hota hi Arafah ke din hai jo shakhs Muzdalifah ki raat namaz Fajr hone se pehle bhi maidan Arafaat ko paale to uska Hajj mukammal hogaya aur Mina ke teen din hain so jo shakhs pehle hi do din mein wapas aajaye to us par koi gunah nahi aur jo baad mein aajaye us par bhi koi gunah nahi, phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aik aadmi ko apne peeche bithaliya jo in baaton ki munaddi karne laga.
