It is narrated by Abi bin Ka'ab (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the Fajr prayer. After the prayer, he asked about some people by name, one by one, "Is so-and-so present?" Each time the people replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "These two prayers (Isha and Fajr) are the most difficult for the hypocrites. If they knew the reward for them, they would surely attend them, even if they had to crawl to do so. And the first row is like the row of angels. If you knew its virtue, you would compete for it. And the prayer of a person with another is more virtuous than the prayer of a person alone (praying alone), and the prayer with two men is more virtuous than the prayer with one man, and the more the number increases, the more beloved it becomes in the sight of Allah."

حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فجر کی نماز پڑھائی تو نماز کے بعد باری باری کچھ لوگوں کے نام لے کر پوچھا کہ فلاں آدمی موجود ہے؟ لوگوں نے ہر مرتبہ جواب دیا نہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ دونوں نمازیں (عشاء اور فجر) منافقین پر سب سے زیادہ بھاری ہوتی ہیں اگر انہیں ان کے ثواب کا پتہ چل جائے تو ضرور ان میں شرکت کریں اگرچہ انہیں گھسیٹ کر ہی آنا پڑے اور پہلی صف فرشتوں کی صف کی طرح ہوتی ہے اگر تم اس کی فضیلت جان لو تو اس کی طرف سبقت کرنے لگو اور انسان کی دوسرے کے ساتھ نماز (تنہا نماز پڑھنے سے اور دو آدمیوں کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنا) ایک آدمی کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنے سے زیادہ افضل ہے اور پھر جتنی تعداد بڑھتی جائے وہ اتنی ہی اللہ کی نگاہوں میں محبوب ہوتی ہے۔
Hazrat Abi bin Kaab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne fajar ki namaz parhai to namaz ke baad bari bari kuch logon ke naam lekar poocha ke falan aadmi mojood hai? Logon ne har martaba jawab diya nahi. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yeh donon namazain (Isha aur fajar) munafiqeen par sab se zyada bhari hoti hain agar unhen in ke sawab ka pata chal jaye to zaroor in mein shirkat karen agarche unhen ghaseet kar hi aana pade aur pehli saf farishton ki saf ki tarah hoti hai agar tum is ki fazilat jaan lo to is ki taraf subqat karne lago aur insan ki doosre ke sath namaz (tanha namaz parhne se aur do aadmiyon ke sath namaz parhna) ek aadmi ke sath namaz parhne se zyada afzal hai aur phir jitni tadaad barhti jaye wo utni hi Allah ki nigahon mein mehboob hoti hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abi bin Ka'ab (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the Fajr prayer. After the prayer, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked about some people by name, one after the other, "Is so-and-so present?" People replied in the negative each time. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "These two prayers (Isha and Fajr) are the most difficult for the hypocrites. If they knew the reward for them, they would have joined them even if they had to crawl. And the first row is like the row of angels. If you knew its virtue, you would compete to be in it. And the prayer of a person with another is better than the prayer of a person alone, and the more the number increases, the more beloved it becomes in the sight of Allah."

It is narrated on the authority of Abi bin Ka'ab (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If people knew the reward for praying Isha and Fajr prayers in congregation, they would surely attend them, even if they had to crawl to get there."

حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر لوگوں کو نماز عشاء اور نماز فجر جماعت کے ساتھ پڑھنے کا ثواب کا پتہ چل جائے تو ضرور ان میں شرکت کریں اگرچہ انہیں گھسٹ کر ہی آنا پڑے۔
Hazrat Abi bin Kaab RA se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya agar logon ko namaz Isha aur namaz Fajar jamaat ke sath parhne ka sawab ka pata chal jaye to zaroor un mein shirkat karen agarche unhen ghisat kar hi aana parre.
It is narrated on the authority of Abi bin Ka'ab (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the Fajr prayer. After the prayer, he called out the names of some people one by one and asked, "Is so-and-so present?". Every time the people replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "These two prayers (Isha and Fajr) are the heaviest on the hypocrites. If they knew the reward for them, they would surely attend them, even if they had to crawl.".... Then the narrator mentioned the complete Hadith.

It is narrated by Abi bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led us in the Fajr prayer. After the prayer, turning towards us, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "These two prayers (Isha and Fajr) are the heaviest on the hypocrites."
