Remaining part of the hadith of Abu Burdah ibn Niyyar
بَقِیَّة حَدِیثِ اَبِی بردَةَ بنِ نِیَار
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16485
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Burdah (may Allah be pleased with him): Once he submitted in the court of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! We have slaughtered our goat very early." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "Before the Eid prayer?" I replied in the affirmative. He said: "Then it is just a goat (whose meat you have consumed)." I submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! We have a six-month-old calf which is more precious to us than an entire year's worth of animals." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It will suffice for you, but it will not suffice for anyone after you."

سیدنا ابوبردہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ انہوں نے بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ﷺ ! ہم نے اپنی بکری کو بہت جلدی ذبح کر لیا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے پوچھا: کیا نماز عید سے بھی پہلے؟ میں نے اثبات میں جواب دیا تو فرمایا کہ یہ تو گوشت والی بکری ہوئی، عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ﷺ ! ہمارے پاس ایک چھ ماہ کا بچھ ہے جو پورے سال کے جانور سے زیادہ ہماری نگاہوں میں عمدہ ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: تمہاری طرف سے کافی ہو جائے گا لیکن تمہارے بعد کسی کی طرف سے وہ کفایت نہیں کر سکے گا۔
Sayyidna AbuBurda raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba unhon ne bargah risalat mein arz kiya Ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hum ne apni bakri ko bahut jaldi zibah kar liya hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pucha kya namaz eid se bhi pehle mein ne isbat mein jawab diya to farmaya ki yeh to gosht wali bakri hui arz kiya Ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hamare pas ek chhe mah ka bachcha hai jo pure saal ke janwar se ziada hamari nigaahon mein umda hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tumhari taraf se kafi ho jayega lekin tumhare baad kisi ki taraf se woh kafiyat nahin kar sakega
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Burdah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not inflict more than ten lashes for any offense other than those deserving the legal punishments fixed by Allah."

سیدنا ابوبردہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: حدود اللہ کے علاوہ کسی سزا میں دس سے زیادہ کوڑے نہ مارے جائیں۔
Sayyidna AbuBurda raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: hudood Allah ke ilawa kisi saza mein das se ziada kore na maare jayen.
Narrated Abu Burda (RA): I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "No more than ten stripes should be given for punishment other than the prescribed punishments of Allah."

سیدنا ابوبردہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ حدود اللہ کے علاوہ کسی سزا میں دس سے زیادہ کوڑے نہ مارے جائیں۔
Sayyidna Abu Burdah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki hudood Allah ke alawa kisi saza mein das se ziada kore na maare jayen.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Burda, may Allah be pleased with him, that he heard the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Do not inflict more than ten lashes on anyone for any offense other than violating the limits prescribed by Allah."

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Burdah: Once, on the way, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put his hand into the collar of a man and pulled it out, and there appeared to be deceit in it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “He is not one of us who deceives us.”

سیدنا ابوبردہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ راستے میں نبی ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کے غلے میں ہاتھ ڈال کر باہر نکالا تو اس میں دھوکہ نظر آیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: وہ شخص ہم میں سے نہیں ہے جو ہمیں دھوکہ دے۔
Sayyidna Abu Burda se marvi hai ki ek martaba raste mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek aadmi ke gale mein hath dal kar bahar nikala to us mein dhoka nazar aaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Woh shakhs hum mein se nahi hai jo humein dhoka de.
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Burda (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I prayed the Eid prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). My wife, from behind (me), took the sacrificial animal and slaughtered it and prepared the food. When I returned home after finishing the prayer, she brought the food. I asked her: "Where did this come from?" She said: "We slaughtered the sacrificial animal and prepared food for you so that you could have breakfast when you returned." I said to her: "I am afraid that doing so may not be correct." So, I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and narrated the whole incident. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not considered a sacrifice. Whoever slaughters the animal before we finish our prayer, his sacrifice is not valid. Therefore, perform the sacrifice again." I searched for a one-year-old animal but could not find one. So, I went back to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! By Allah, I have searched for a Musinnah (a one-year-old animal) but I cannot find one." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then find a six-month-old lamb and sacrifice that." Or this was a concession from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for them.

سیدنا ابوبردہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے عید کی نماز نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ پڑھی، پیچھے سے میری بیوی نے قربانی کا جانور پکڑ کر اسے ذبح کر لیا اور اس کا کھانا تیار کر لیا، نماز سے فارغ ہو کر جب میں گھر پہنچا تو وہ کھانے کی چیزیں لے کر آئی، میں نے اس سے پوچھا: یہ کہاں سے آیا؟ اس نے کہا ہم نے قربانی کا جانور ذبح کر کے آپ کے لئے کھانا تیار کر لیا تاکہ واپس آ کر آپ ناشتہ کر سکیں، میں نے اس سے کہا کہ مجھے خطرہ ہے کہ اس طرح کرنا صحیح نہ ہو گا، چنانچہ میں نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور سارا واقعہ بتایا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: قربانی نہیں ہوئی، جو شخص ہماری نماز سے فارغ ہو نے سے قبل ہی جانور ذبح کر لے اس کی قربانی نہیں ہوئی، لہذا تم دوبارہ قربانی کر و، میں نے جب سال بھر کا جانور تلاش کیا تو وہ مجھے ملا نہیں، لہذا میں نے دوبارہ حاضر ہو کر عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ﷺ ! واللہ میں نے مسنہ تلاش کیا ہے لیکن مجھے مل نہیں رہا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: پھر بھیڑ کا چھ ماہ کا بچہ تلاش کر کے اسی کی قربانی کر لو، یا یہ نبی ﷺ کی طرف سے ان کے لئے رخصت تھی۔
Sayyidna Abu Burda raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba maine Eid ki namaz Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hamrah parhi, peeche se meri biwi ne qurbani ka janwar pakad kar use zibah kar liya aur uska khana taiyar kar liya, namaz se farigh ho kar jab main ghar pahuncha to woh khane ki cheezen lekar aayi, maine us se pucha: yeh kahan se aaya? usne kaha humne qurbani ka janwar zibah kar ke aap ke liye khana taiyar kar liya taake wapas aa kar aap nashta kar saken, maine us se kaha ki mujhe khatra hai ki is tarah karna sahih na hoga, chunancha main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur sara waqea bataya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: qurbani nahin hui, jo shakhs hamari namaz se farigh hone se pehle hi janwar zibah kar le us ki qurbani nahin hui, lihaza tum dobara qurbani kar lo, maine jab saal bhar ka janwar talaash kiya to woh mujhe mila nahin, lihaza maine dobara hazir ho kar arz kiya: ya Rasulullah! (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! wallahi maine musinna talaash kiya hai lekin mujhe mil nahin raha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: phir bher ka chhe mah ka bachcha talaash kar ke usi ki qurbani kar lo, ya yeh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki taraf se un ke liye rukhsat thi.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Burda (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Do not inflict more than ten lashes on anyone except in the case of a Hadd punishment prescribed by Allah.
