Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11153
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the prayer and took off his shoes. The people also took off their shoes. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Why did you take off your shoes?" The people said, "O Messenger of Allah, we saw you taking off your shoes, so we also took them off." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Gabriel came to me and informed me that there was some dirt on my shoes. Therefore, when any one of you comes to the mosque, he should look at his shoes. If he sees any dirt on them, he should rub them on the ground and then pray in them."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے نماز پڑھائی تو جوتیاں اتار دیں، لوگوں نے بھی اپنی جوتیاں اتار دیں، نماز سے فارغ ہو کر نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم لوگوں نے اپنی جوتیاں کیوں اتار دیں؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ہم نے آپ کو جوتی اتارتے ہوئے دیکھا اس لئے ہم نے بھی اتار دی، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میرے پاس تو جبرائیل آئے تھے اور انہوں نے مجھے بتایا تھا کہ میری جوتی میں کچھ گندگی لگی ہوئی ہے، اس لئے جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص مسجد آئے تو وہ پلٹ کر اپنی جوتیوں کو دیکھ لے، اگر ان میں کوئی گندگی لگی ہوئی نظر آئے تو انہیں زمین پر رگڑ دے، پھر ان ہی میں نماز پڑھ لے
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz parhai to jootian utaar deen, logon ne bhi apni jootian utaar deen, namaz se farigh ho kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum logon ne apni jootian kyun utaar deen? Logon ne arz kiya Ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hum ne aap ko jooti utarte huye dekha is liye hum ne bhi utaar deen, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mere pass to Jibraeel aaye the aur unhon ne mujhe bataya tha ki meri jooti mein kuch gandagi lagi hui hai, is liye jab tum mein se koi shakhs masjid aaye to woh palat kar apni jootion ko dekh le, agar un mein koi gandagi lagi hui nazar aaye to unhen zameen par ragar de, phir un hi mein namaz parh le.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَعَامَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فَخَلَعَ نَعْلَيْهِ، فَخَلَعَ النَّاسُ نِعَالَهُمْ، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ، قَالَ:" لِمَ خَلَعْتُمْ نِعَالَكُمْ؟"، فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، رَأَيْنَاكَ خَلَعْتَ فَخَلَعْنَا، قَالَ:" إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ أَتَانِي فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ بِهِمَا خَبَثًا، فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَلْيَقْلِبْ نَعْلَهُ، فَلْيَنْظُرْ فِيهَا، فَإِنْ رَأَى بِهَا خَبَثًا فَلْيُمِسَّهُ بِالْأَرْضِ، ثُمَّ لِيُصَلِّ فِيهِمَا".
