Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11473
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would wake up at night, he would say "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the Greatest) and start his prayer. He would then say, "Subhanak Allahumma wa bi Hamdika wa Tabarakasmuka wa Ta'ala Jadduka wa Laa Ilaaha Ghairuk" (Glory be to You, O Allah, and all praise is due to You, and blessed is Your name, and exalted is Your Majesty, and there is no deity worthy of worship but You) three times. Then he would say "Laa Ilaaha Illallah" (There is no deity worthy of worship but Allah) three times. Then he would say, "A'udhu Billahis Sami'il 'Aleem minash Shaitanir Rajeem min Hamzihi wa Nafkhihi" (I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from Satan, the Accursed, from his madness and his arrogance). Then he would say "Allahu Akbar" three times. Then he would repeat, "A'udhu Billahis Sami'il 'Aleem minash Shaitanir Rajeem min Hamzihi wa Nafkhihi wa Nafthih" (I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from Satan, the Accursed, from his madness, his arrogance and his temptations).

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب رات کو بیدار ہوتے اور اللہ اکبر کہہ کر نماز شروع کرتے تو سبحانک اللھم وبحمدک و تبارک اسمک وتعالیٰ جدک ولا الہ غیرک کہہ کر تین مرتبہ لا الہ الا اللہ کہتے، پھر یوں کہتے اعوذبا اللہ السمیع العلیم من الشیطان الرجیم من ھمزہ ونفخہ پھر تین مرتبہ اللہ اکبر کہتے، پھر دوبارہ یوں کہتے اعوذبا اللہ السمیع العلیم من الشیطان الرجیم من ھمزہ ونفخہ ونفثہ
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab raat ko bedar hote aur Allah Akbar keh kar namaz shuru karte to Subhanakallahumma Wa Bihamdika Wa Tabarakasmuka Wa Ta'ala Jaddaka Wa La Ilaha Ghairuk keh kar teen martaba La Ilaha Illallah kehte, phir yun kehte A'oozubillahis Sameeail Aleem Minash Shaitanir Rajeem Min Hamzihi Wa Nafkhihi phir teen martaba Allah Akbar kehte, phir dobara yun kehte A'oozubillahis Sameeail Aleem Minash Shaitanir Rajeem Min Hamzihi Wa Nafkhihi Wa Nafsihi.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَتْشٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْيَشْكُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَاسْتَفْتَحَ صَلَاتَهُ وَكَبَّرَ، قَالَ:" سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، تَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ، وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ثَلَاثًا , ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ السَّمِيعِ الْعَلِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ، مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ , ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ثَلَاثًا , ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ السَّمِيعِ الْعَلِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ".
