Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14334
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivered a sermon to us and after praising and glorifying Allah, he said: The truest speech is the Book of Allah, the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, the worst of things are newly invented matters and every innovation is misguidance. Then, as he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued to mention the Day of Judgment, his voice became louder, and he said: The Day of Judgment has been sent upon me and it, just like this, and while saying this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pointed with his index and middle finger. The Day of Judgment will come upon you in the morning or the evening. Whoever leaves behind wealth, it belongs to his family, and whoever leaves behind debt or children, they are my responsibility.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں خطبہ دیا اور اللہ کی حمد و ثناء بیان کرنے کے بعد فرمایا: سب سے سچی بات کتاب اللہ ہے، سب سے افضل طریقہ محمد کا طریقہ ہے، بدترین چیز نو ایجاد ہیں اور ہر بدعت گمراہی ہے پھر جوں جوں آپ قیامت کا تذکر ہ فرمانے لگے آپ کی آواز بلند ہوتی جاتی، پھر فرمایا: قیامت تم پر آ گئی ہے مجھے اور قیامت کو اس طرح بھیجا گیا ہے یہ کہہ کر آپ ﷺ نے اپنی شہادت کی انگلی اور درمیانی انگلی سے اشارہ کیا، تم پر صبح کو قیامت آ گئی ہے یا شام کو، جو شخص مال و دولت چھوڑ جائے وہ اس کے اہل خانہ کا ہے اور جو شخص قرض یا بچے چھوڑ دے وہ میرے ذمہ ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamen khutba diya aur Allah ki hamd o sana bayan karne ke bad farmaya: Sab se sachi baat kitab Allah hai, sab se afzal tarika Muhammad ka tarika hai, badtareen cheez no ijad hain aur har bidat gumrahi hai phir joon joon aap qayamat ka zikar farmane lage aap ki awaz buland hoti jati, phir farmaya: Qayamat tum par aa gai hai mujhe aur qayamat ko is tarah bheja gaya hai yeh keh kar aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apni shahadat ki ungli aur darmiyaani ungli se ishara kiya, tum par subah ko qayamat aa gai hai ya sham ko, jo shakhs maal o daulat chhor jaye woh us ke ehl khana ka hai aur jo shakhs qarz ya bache chhor de woh mere zimma hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ بِمَا هُوَ لَهُ أَهْلٌ، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" أَمَّا بَعْدُ، فَإِنَّ أَصْدَقَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ، وَإِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْهَدْيِ هَدْيُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَشَرَّ الْأُمُورِ مُحْدَثَاتُهَا، وَكُلَّ بِدْعَةٍ ضَلَالَةٌ"، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ، وَتَحْمَرُّ وَجْنَتَاهُ، وَيَشْتَدُّ غَضَبُهُ، إِذَا ذَكَرَ السَّاعَةَ، كَأَنَّهُ مُنْذِرُ جَيْشٍ، قَالَ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ:" أَتَتْكُمْ السَّاعَةُ، بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ هَكَذَا وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى صَبَّحَتْكُمْ السَّاعَةُ وَمَسَّتْكُمْ، مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا، فَلِأَهْلِهِ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا، فَإِلَيَّ وَعَلَيَّ" وَالضَّيَاعُ يَعْنِي وَلَدَهُ الْمَسَاكِينَ.
