Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14837
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I offered the Eid al-Adha prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). After the prayer, a ram was brought. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited "Bismillah Allahu Akbar" (In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest) and slaughtered it. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then said: "O Allah, this is from me and from those of my Ummah who could not offer a sacrifice."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ عیدالاضحی کی نماز پڑھی نماز سے فراغت کے بعد ایک مینڈھا لایا گیا نبی ﷺ نے اسے ذبح کرتے ہوئے بسم اللہ اللہ اکبر کہا اور فرمایا: اے اللہ یہ میری طرف سے ہے اور میری امت کے ان تمام لوگوں کی طرف سے جو قربانی نہیں کر سکتے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Eid-ul-Adha ki namaz padhi namaz se faraghat ke bad ek mendha laya gaya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use zabah karte huye Bismillah Allahu Akbar kaha aur farmaya: Aye Allah yah meri taraf se hai aur meri ummat ke un tamam logon ki taraf se jo qurbani nahin kar sakte.
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَوْلَايَ الْمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ ، أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِيدَ الْأَضْحَى، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أُتَي بِكَبْشٍ، فَذَبَحَهُ، فَقَالَ:" بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ هَذَا عَنِّي وَعَمَّنْ لَمْ يُضَحِّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي".
