Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14895
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I offered the Eid al-Adha prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). After the prayer and sermon, a ram was brought. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), while sacrificing it, said: "Bismillah Allahu Akbar (In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest)." And he said: "O Allah, this is from me and on behalf of all those from my Ummah who could not offer a sacrifice."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ عیدالاضحی کی نماز پڑھی ہے نماز اور خطبہ سے فراغت کے بعد ایک مینڈھا لایا گیا نبی ﷺ نے اسے ذبح کرتے ہوئے بسم اللہ اللہ اکبر کہا اور فرمایا: اے اللہ یہ میری طرف سے ہے اور میری امت کے تمام ان لوگوں کے لئے جو قربانی نہیں کر سکتے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Eid-ul-Adha ki namaz parhi hai. Namaz aur khutba se faraghat ke baad ek mendha laya gaya. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use zabah karte hue Bismillah Allahu Akbar kaha aur farmaya: Aye Allah yeh meri taraf se hai aur meri ummat ke tamam un logon ke liye jo qurbani nahi kar sakte.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْأَضْحَى بِالْمُصَلَّى، فَلَمَّا قَضَى خُطْبَتَهُ، نَزَلَ مِنْ مِنْبَرِهِ، وَأَتَى بِكَبْشٍ، فَذَبَحَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ، وَقَالَ:" بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، هَذَا عَنِّي وَعَمَّنْ لَمْ يُضَحِّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي".
