Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14927
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man slaughtered his six-month-old goat before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the Eid prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “This will not suffice for anyone besides you.” And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade slaughtering the animal before the prayer.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک شخص نے قبل اس کے نبی ﷺ نماز عید ادا کر یں اپناچھ ماہ کا بکری کا بچہ ذبح کر لیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: تمہارے علاوہ کسی اور کی طرف سے یہ کفایت نہیں کر ے گا اور نبی ﷺ نے نماز سے قبل جانور ذبح کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayidna Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek shakhs ne qabal is ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz eid ada karain apna chhe mah ka bakri ka bachcha zabah kar liya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tumhare alawa kisi aur ki taraf se ye kafaayat nahi kare ga aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz se qabal janwar zabah karne se mana farmaya hai
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَتُودًا جَذَعًا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَا تُجْزِئُ عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ"، وَنَهَى أَنْ يَذْبَحُوا حَتَّى يُصَلُّوا.
