Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16715
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Qais ibn A'idh that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) giving a sermon on a she-camel whose ear was pierced, and a Habshi was holding its reins. Keep in mind that Sayyiduna Qais died during the trials of Mukhtar.

سیدنا قیس بن عائذ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو ایک ایسی اونٹنی پر خطبہ دیتے ہوئے دیکھا جس کا کان چھدا ہوا تھا اور ایک حبشی نے اس کی لگام تھام رکھی تھی، یاد رہے کہ سیدنا قیس مختار کے ایام آزمائش میں فوت ہوئے تھے۔

قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد: حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَائِذٍ ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَخْطُبُ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ خَرْمَاءَ، وَعَبْدٌ حَبَشِيٌّ مُمْسِكٌ بِخِطَامِهَا" وَهَلَكَ قَيْسٌ أَيَّامَ الْمُخْتَارِ.
