Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1795

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood inside the Ka'bah, recited tasbeeh and takbeer, supplicated to Allah and sought forgiveness, but he did not perform ruku' (bowing) or sujud (prostration).

سیدنا فضل بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ خانہ کعبہ کے اندر کھڑے ہوئے اور تسبیح و تکبیر کہی، اللہ سے دعا کی اور استغفار کیا، لیکن رکوع سجدہ نہیں کیا۔

Sayyidna Fazl bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Khan e Kaaba ke andar kharay huye aur tasbeeh o takbeer kahi, Allah se dua ki aur istighfar kiya, lekin rukuh sijda nahi kiya.

حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ: فَسَبَّحَ، وَكَبَّرَ، وَدَعَا اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ، وَلَمْ، يَرْكَعْ وَلَمْ يَسْجُدْ".
