Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18098
It is narrated on the authority of Safwaan bin 'Assal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The angels of Allah spread their wings for the seeker of knowledge, "rejoicing in his pursuit of knowledge."

حضرت صفوان بن عسال رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اللہ کے فرشتے طالب علم کے لئے " طلب علم پر خوشی ظاہر کرتے ہوئے " اپنے پر بچھا دیتے ہیں .
Hazrat Safwan bin Asal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Allah ke farishtey talib ilm ke liye " talib ilm par khushi zahir karte hue " apne par bichha dete hain ..
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ زِرٍّ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَسَّالٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَتَضَعُ أَجْنِحَتَهَا لِطَالِبِ الْعِلْمِ رِضًا بِمَا طَلَبَ" ..
