Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18625
Narrated Bara (may Allah be pleased with him), that once we went with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to attend a funeral. When we reached near the grave, the niche (lahad) was not yet prepared, so the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat down and we also sat around him.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک جنازے میں نکلے ہم قبر کے قریب پہنچے تو ابھی لحد تیار نہیں ہوئی تھی اس لئے نبی کریم ﷺ بیٹھ گئے ہم بھی آپ ﷺ کے اردگرد بیٹھ گئے۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai ke aik martaba hum log Nabi Kareem SAW ke sath aik janaze mein nikle hum qabar ke qareeb pahunche to abhi lahad taiyar nahi hui thi is liye Nabi Kareem SAW baith gaye hum bhi aap SAW ke ird gird baith gaye.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَن الْمِنْهَالِ ، عَن زَاذَانَ ، عَن الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ: " خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ، فَوَجَدْنَا الْقَبْرَ، وَلَمَّا يُلْحَدْ، فَجَلَسَ وَجَلَسْنَا" .
