The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1929
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once prayed seven rak'ahs (Maghrib and Isha) together and eight rak'ahs (Dhuhr and Asr) together while he was residing in Madinah Munawwarah, not while traveling.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ مدینہ منورہ میں مقیم ہونے کی حالت میں - نہ کہ مسافر ہونے کی حالت میں - (مغرب اور عشاء کی) سات اور (ظہر اور عصر کی) آٹھ رکعتیں اکٹھی پڑھی تھیں۔
Syedna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba Madina Munawwara mein muqeem hone ki halat mein - na ke musafir hone ki halat mein - (Maghrib aur Isha ki) saat aur (Zuhr aur Asr ki) aath rakaaten ek sath parhi thin.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، قَالَ: ثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ، مُقِيمًا، غَيْرَ مُسَافِرٍ سَبْعًا وَثَمَانِيًا".
