Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19901
It is narrated by Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were on a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were traveling at different paces. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited these two verses in a loud voice, then this verse was revealed, "O mankind! Fear your Lord, indeed, the earthquake of the Hour is a terrible thing." When his voice reached the ears of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), they brought their rides closer and stood around the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Do you know what day that will be? That will be the day when Allah Almighty will call out to Adam (peace be upon him) and say, 'O Adam! Bring forth the people of Hell.' He will ask, 'What is the share of Hell?' So it will be said, 'Take out ninety-nine out of every hundred for Hell.'" Hearing this, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) began to weep. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Keep on doing good deeds and rejoice, you will be with two groups whose numbers will only increase," meaning Yajuj Majuj and those who will perish from among the children of Adam and the offspring of Satan. Upon this, that state of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) went away. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again said, "Keep on doing good deeds and rejoice, by the One in whose hand of power is the life of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), among all the nations, you will be like a mark on the side of a camel."

حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ کسی سفر میں تھے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ مختلف رفتار سے چل رہے تھے، نبی ﷺ نے بلند آواز سے یہ دو آیتیں پڑھیں تو یہ آیت نازل ہوئی، " اے لوگو! اپنے رب سے ڈرو، بیشک قیامت کا زلزلہ بڑی عظیم چیز ہے " صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے کان میں اس کی آواز پہنچی تو انہوں نے اپنی سواریوں کو قریب کیا اور نبی ﷺ کے گرد آ کر کھڑے ہوگئے، نبی ﷺ نے پوچھا تم جانتے ہو وہ کون سا دن ہوگا؟ یہ وہ دن ہوگا جب اللہ تعالیٰ حضرت آدم (علیہ السلام) سے پکار کر کہے گا کہ اے آدم! جہنم کا حصہ نکالو، وہ پوچھیں گے کہ جہنم کا حصہ کیا ہے؟ تو ارشاد ہوگا ہر ہزار میں سے نوسوننانوے جہنم کے لئے نکال لو، یہ سن کر صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ رونے لگے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم عمل کرتے رہو اور خوش ہوجاؤ، تم ایسی دو قوموں کے ساتھ ہو گے کہ وہ جس چیز کے ساتھ مل جائیں اس کی تعداد میں اضافہ ہوجاتا ہے یعنی یاجوج ماجوج اور بنی آدم میں سے ہلاک ہونے والے اور شیطان کی اولاد، اس پر صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ کی وہ کیفیت دور ہوگئی، نبی ﷺ نے پھر فرمایا عمل کرتے رہو اور خوش ہوجاؤ اس ذات کی قسم! جس کے دست قدرت میں محمد ﷺ کی جان ہے، تمام امتوں میں تم لوگ اونٹ کے پہلو میں نشان کی طرح ہوگے۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath kisi safar mein the. Sahaba kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) mukhtalif raftar se chal rahe the. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne buland awaz se ye do ayaten padhin to ye ayat nazil hui, "Aye logo! Apne Rab se daro, beshak qayamat ka zalzala badi azeem cheez hai." Sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke kaan mein iski awaz pahunchi to unhon ne apni sawariyon ko qareeb kiya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke gird aa kar khare ho gaye. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne poocha tum jante ho wo kaun sa din hoga? Ye wo din hoga jab Allah Ta'ala Hazrat Adam Alaihis Salam se pukar kar kahenge ki aye Adam! Jahannum ka hissa nikalo. Wo poochenge ki jahannum ka hissa kya hai? To irshad hoga har hazar mein se nau sau ninanawe jahannum ke liye nikal lo. Ye sunkar sahaba kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) rone lage. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum amal karte raho aur khush ho jao. Tum aisi do qaumon ke sath ho ge ki wo jis cheez ke sath mil jayen uski tadad mein izafa ho jata hai yani Yajuj Majuj aur bani Adam mein se halaak hone wale aur shaitan ki aulad. Is par sahaba kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki wo kefiyat door ho gayi. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne phir farmaya amal karte raho aur khush ho jao is zaat ki qasam! Jis ke dast-e-qudrat mein Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki jaan hai tamam ummaton mein tum log oont ke pahlu mein nishan ki tarah honge.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ، وَهُوَ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ، وَقَدْ تَفَاوَتَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ السَّيْرُ، رَفَعَ بِهَاتَيْنِ الْآيَتَيْنِ صَوْتَهُ:" يَأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّ زَلْزَلَةَ السَّاعَةِ شَيْءٌ عَظِيمٌ يَوْمَ تَرَوْنَهَا تَذْهَلُ سورة الحج آية 1 - 2 حَتَّى بَلَغَ آخِرَ الْآيَتَيْنِ، قَالَ: فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ أَصْحَابُهُ بِذَلِكَ حَثُّوا الْمَطِيَّ وَعَرَفُوا أَنَّهُ عِنْدَ قَوْلٍ يَقُولُهُ، فَلَمَّا تَأَشَّبُوا حَوْلَهُ , قَالَ: " أَتَدْرُونَ أَيَّ يَوْمٍ ذَاكَ؟" , قَالَ:" ذَاكَ يَوْمَ يُنَادَى آدَمُ، فَيُنَادِيهِ رَبُّهُ فيقول: يَا آدَمُ ابْعَثْ بَعْثًا إِلَى النَّارِ , فَيَقُولُ: يَا رَبِّ , وَمَا بَعْثُ النَّارِ؟ قَالَ: مِنْ كُلِّ أَلْفٍ تِسْعَ مِائَةٍ وَتِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ فِي النَّارِ، وَوَاحِدٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ" قَالَ: فَأَبْلَسَ أَصْحَابُهُ حَتَّى مَا أَوْضَحُوا بِضَاحِكَةٍ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى ذَلِكَ، قَالَ:" اعْمَلُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، إِنَّكُمْ لَمَعَ خَلِيقَتَيْنِ مَا كَانَتَا مَعَ شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا كَثَرَتَاهُ: يَأْجُوجَ , وَمَأْجُوجَ، وَمَنْ هَلَكَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ وَبَنِي إِبْلِيسَ" قَالَ: فَأُسْرِيَ عَنْهُمْ، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" اعْمَلُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، مَا أَنْتُمْ فِي النَّاسِ إِلَّا كَالشَّامَةِ فِي جَنْبِ الْبَعِيرِ، أَوْ الرَّقْمَةِ فِي ذِرَاعِ الدَّابَّةِ"
