Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20139

It was narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Every child is pledged for his 'Aqeeqah, so sacrifice should be offered for him on the seventh day, his head should be shaved, and he should be given his name."

حضرت سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا ہر لڑکا اپنے عقیقے کے عوض گروی لکھا ہوا ہے لہذا اس کی طرف سے ساتویں دن قربانی کیا کرو اسی دن اس کا نام رکھاجائے اور سر کے بال مونڈے جائیں۔

Hazrat Samra Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya har ladka apne aqiqe ke awaz giروی likha hua hai lihaza us ki taraf se saatven din qurbani kya karo usi din us ka naam rakha jaye aur sar ke baal mundaye jayen.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بُنْ يُوسِفُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " كُلُّ غُلَامٍ رَهِينٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ، تُذْبَحُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ السَّابِعِ، وَيُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ، وَيُسَمَّى" .
