Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20179
It is narrated on the authority of Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The Holy Quran was revealed in seven Ahruf (modes of recitation).

حضرت سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا ہے کہ قرآن کریم سات حروف پر نازل ہوا ہے۔
Hazrat Samra (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya hai ki Quran Kareem saat huroof par nazil hua hai.
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ" .
