Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20200
Narrated by Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Wear white clothes, for they are pure and clean, and shroud your dead in them.

حضرت سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا سفید کپڑے پہنا کرو کیونکہ عمدہ اور پاکیزہ ہوتے ہیں اور اپنے مردوں کو ان ہی میں دفن کیا کرو۔
Hazrat Samra (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya safed kapre pehna karo kyunki umda aur pakiza hote hain aur apne murdon ko in hi mein dafan kiya karo.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ , وَالْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ أَبِي شَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْبَسُوا الثِّيَابَ الْبِيضَ، فَإِنَّهَا أَطْيَبُ وَأَطْهَرُ، وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ" .
