Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20288
It is narrated on the authority of a Shaikh of Banu Sulaym that once in the presence of the Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, I heard him say: A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim, he neither wrongs him nor does he leave him helpless. Piety is here, piety is here. And he pointed to his chest with his hand.

بنوسلیط کے ایک شیخ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں میں نے آپ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ مسلمان مسلمان کا بھائی ہوتا ہے وہ اس پر ظلم کرتا ہے اور نہ اسے بےیارومددگار چھوڑتا ہے تقوی یہاں ہوتا ہے تقوی یہاں ہوتا ہے اور اپنے ہاتھ سے سینے کی طرف اشارہ فرمایا۔
Banu Sulayt ke aik sheikh se marvi hai ke aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein mein ne aap ko ye farmate huye suna ke Musalman Musalman ka bhai hota hai wo is par zulm karta hai aur na ise beyar madadgar chorta hai taqwa yahan hota hai taqwa yahan hota hai aur apne hath se seene ki taraf ishara farmaya.
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ ، قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي سَلِيطٍ، قَالَ: رُفِعْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: " الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ، لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يَخْذُلُهُ، التَّقْوَى هَاهُنَا، التَّقْوَى هَاهُنَا" مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا، وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ .
