The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2102
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that one of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed a ritual bath after intercourse or menstruation. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then performed ablution or a bath using the remaining water. When his wife inquired about it, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Nothing can make water impure."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کی کسی زوجہ محترمہ نے غسل جنابت فرمایا اور نبی ﷺ نے ان کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے غسل یا وضو فرما لیا، ان زوجہ نے نبی ﷺ سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ ”پانی کو کوئی چیز ناپاک نہیں کرتی۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki kisi zauja mohtarma ne ghusl janabat farmaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ke bache hue pani se ghusl ya wuzu farma liya, un zauja ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se iske mutalliq pucha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki "pani ko koi cheez napak nahi karti."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ بَعْضَ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اغْتَسَلَتْ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، فَتَوَضَّأَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِفَضْلِهِ، فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ:" إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ".
