The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2108
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) applied a bandage to his head while he was in the state of Ihram. The narrator says that it was due to some ailment.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حالت احرام میں اپنے سر میں سینگی لگوائی، راوی کہتے ہیں کہ یہ کسی تکلیف کی بناء پر تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas raza Allahu anhuma se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne halat ehram mein apne sar mein sainge lagwai, ravi kehte hain ki yeh kisi takleef ki bina par tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ احْتِجَامَةً فِي رَأْسِهِ" , قَالَ يَزِيدُ: مِنْ أَذًى كَانَ بِه.
