ومن مسند بني هاشم

The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2170

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Allah! You have made the elders of Quraysh taste the torment, now make their younger generation taste Your bounty.”


Grade: Hasan

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اے اللہ! آپ نے قریش کے پہلوں کو عذاب کا مزہ چکھا دیا، اب ان کے پچھلوں کو اپنے انعام کا مزہ بھی دکھا دے۔“

Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Aye Allah! Aap ne Quresh ke pehlon ko azab ka maza chakha diya, ab un ke pichalon ko apne inaam ka maza bhi dikha de.”

حدثنا عبد الله، حدثنا أبي من كتابه، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ ، قَالَ: الْأَعْمَشُ حَدَّثَنَا , عَنْ طَارِقٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ أَذَقْتَ أَوَائِلَ قُرَيْشٍ نَكَالًا، فَأَذِقْ آخِرَهُمْ نَوَالًا".
