Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22029
Muadh narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Verily, the example of Satan with the people is like that of a wolf with sheep. It seizes the sheep that strays off alone or lags behind the flock. So beware of being alone, and stick to the majority of the Muslims and their gathering places and their mosques."

حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جس طرح بکریوں کے لئے بھیڑیا ہوتا ہے اسی طرح انسان کے لئے شیطان بھیڑیا ہے جو اکیلی رہ جانے والی اور سب سے الگ تھلگ رہنے والی بکری کو پکڑ لیتا ہے اس لئے تم گھاٹیوں میں تنہا رہنے سے اپنے آپ کو بچاؤ اور جماعت مسلمین کو، عوام کو اور مسجد کو اپنے اوپر لازم کرلو۔
Hazrat Muaz Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jis tarah bakriyon ke liye bhediya hota hai usi tarah insan ke liye shaitan bhediya hai jo akeli reh jane wali aur sab se alag thalag rehne wali bakri ko pakad leta hai is liye tum ghatiyon mein tanha rehne se apne aap ko bachao aur jamaat muslimeen ko, awam ko aur masjid ko apne upar lazim karlo.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ , عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ , أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ ذِئْبُ الْإِنْسَانِ كَذِئْبِ الْغَنَمِ يَأْخُذُ الشَّاةَ الْقَاصِيَةَ وَالنَّاحِيَةَ , فَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالشِّعَابَ , وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالْجَمَاعَةِ , وَالْعَامَّةِ , وَالْمَسْجِدِ" .
