Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22036
It is narrated on the authority of Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set out for the Battle of Tabuk during a cold season and combined and shortened the afternoon (Zuhr) and late-afternoon (Asr) prayers, and the sunset (Maghrib) and night (Isha) prayers throughout that journey.

حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ عزوہ تبوک میں ٹھنڈے وقت روانہ ہوئے تھے اور اس سفر میں ظہر اور عصر، مغرب اور عشاء کو اکٹھا کر کے پڑھتے رہے۔
Hazrat Muaz Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Azwa Tabook mein thande waqt rawana huye thay aur is safar mein Zuhar aur Asr, Maghrib aur Isha ko ikattha kar ke parhte rahe.
حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ , عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ , قَالَ:" كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ لَا يَرُوحُ حَتَّى يُبْرِدَ , حَتَّى يَجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ , وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ" .
