The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2276
It is narrated on the authority of our master Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up for prayer during some part of the night. I too stood up, performed ablution and came and stood on the left side of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned me and made me stand on his right side. Then, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed thirteen rak'ahs in which the standing was equal (in length).

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ رات کے کسی حصے میں نماز پڑھنے لگے، میں نے بھی کھڑے ہو کر وضو کیا اور آ کر نبی ﷺ کی بائیں جانب کھڑا ہو گیا، نبی ﷺ نے مجھے گھما کر اپنی دائیں طرف کر لیا، پھر نبی ﷺ نے تیرہ رکعتیں پڑھیں جن میں قیام یکساں تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat ke kisi hisse mein namaz padhne lage, main ne bhi kharay hokar wuzu kiya aur aa kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki bayen janib khara ho gaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe ghuma kar apni dayen taraf kar liya, phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne terah rakaaten parhin jin mein qayam yaksan tha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ يُصَلِّي، فَقُمْتُ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ، فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، فَجَذَبَنِي فَجَرَّنِي، فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، فَصَلَّى ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً، قِيَامُهُ فِيهِنَّ سَوَاءٌ".
